Amybeth McNulty (born in Dublin the Irish city of Dublin) is an Irish Canadian actor. She was best-known for her starring part in Anne Shirley in CBC/Netflix's drama series Anne with an E. The show is based on Lucy Maud Montgomery's 1908 book Anne of Green Gables. Amybeth McNulty, born 7 November 2001, was the daughter of a Canadian father and an Irish mother. Amybeth is an Irish born woman. She will be twenty-one years old as of 2023. She was raised in the Irish island Donegal in Ireland. She holds dual Irish and Canadian citizenship. She is a blonde. Anne has a complicated love affair with Gilbert Blythe. Gilbert was just two years older than Anne however, they both attended the same school level. Gilbert's schooling had been interrupted by his father's illness. Gilbert nicknamed Anne Carrots when they first met. Amybeth McNulty plays Anne, an unwed and orphaned teenager who has a life of abuse in the orphanages and homes. Anne is forced to live on Prince Edward Island with her aging sisters, Marilla and Matthew Cuthbert. When the show ends it's 1919 and the family have a great time; Gilbert is 55 and is still deeply attracted to Anne of Green Gables.
